Delena V. Lamb

Delena V. Lamb, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Monday, November 23, 2020. Delena was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 26, 1940 to Clarence M. Jarman and Lena N. (Walton) Jarman. On July 18, 1959 in Cincinnati, she married Noel E. Lamb, and he preceded her in death in 1989.  She worked as a cook for several local restaurants for many years.  Delena enjoyed traveling with her husband, and singing Gospel Music for several years.  She was a member of New Haven Missionary Baptist Church in Norwood.   Her greatest joy in life especially in her later years, was spending time with her family.

Delena is survived by her loving daughter, Marsha (Mark) Couch; six grandchildren, Crystal Baird, Matthew (Courtney) Baird, Stacey (Ejay) Turner, Kelley (Thomas) Miller, Madison (Nick) Ferguson, and Morgen Couch; five great grandchildren, Elijah, Micah, Riley, Callie, and Amelia. Delena was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence M. Jarman and Lena N. Jarman; her children, Margaret D. Lamb, Marvin Boyd, Marlene Faye Baird; her siblings, John Gullion, Kenneth Gullion, and Russell Gullion.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ernie Murray officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.  Burial will take place at a later date at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
