Della M. Brock

Della M. Brock, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, December 15, 2017. Della was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on December 16, 1932 to Hiram Young and Myrtle (Garland) Young. Della was employed at AVON for 26 ½ years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Richmond Road Baptist Church. On June 11, 1951 in Jellico, Tennessee, she married Edward Eugene Brock, and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2010.

Della is survived by one son, Gregory (Lisa) Brock of Hamilton; two grandsons, Brian (Renee) Brock of Hamilton and Kyle (Ashley) Brock of Nashville, TN; four great grandchildren; Julia, Justin, Chloe, and Madison; one brother, Allen L. Young of Hamilton; and numerous other family and friends. Della was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Pearl Cornette; one brother in law Willie Cornette; and sister in laws, Virginia Young and Naomi Lincks; and Margaret and George Young.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 12:00noon with Pastor Paul Tillett officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 11:00AM until time of service at 12:00noon. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Hospice of Hamilton, or Richmond Road Baptist Church. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Lang, Dr. Paula Weisenberger, and the staff at Hospice of Hamilton for their care and support.
