Della Faye Thompson

Della Faye Thompson, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Faye was born in Jackson Co., Kentucky on September 18, 1935, to William Edward Montgomery and Rhoda (Stapleton) Montgomery.

Faye is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Edward Glen Thompson; her children, Rhonda (Randy) Snader, Randall (Kim) Thompson, Rita Clemmons; her grandchildren, Sarah (Chad) Schul, Wendy (David) Bryan, Dustin Thompson, Clinton (Jess) Thompson, Josh (Brittany) Smith, Jodi (Brandon) Tirey, and Whitney Clemmons; her 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Rhoda Montgomery; her daughter, Glenna Thompson Smith; her three brothers, Raymond, William, and Robert Montgomery; and two sisters, Nell Isaacs and Eula Kilburn.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Mullins of Greenhills United Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Greenhills United Baptist Church.
