Delmas Junior Evans

Delmas Junior Evans, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 12:55 PM. He was born in Owlsey County on September 12, 1943 the son of Theodore and Bessie (Whicker) Evans. Delmas retired as a custodian for Hamilton City Schools.

He is survived by wife, Jane Evans of Hamilton; one daughter, Angie (Phil) Davidson; two granddaughters, Evalyn and Kadie Davidson, all of Hamilton; one sister, Glenna (Tommy) Partin of Mt. Orab, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Evalyn Puckett of Hamilton; and his faithful companion, Zippy. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Robert Evans.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Denny Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM t0 2:00 PM. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
