Dennis C. Alcorn

Dennis C. Alcorn, age 69, passed away at home on Sunday, July 23, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 22, 1954 to Golie Alcorn and Ruth (Essert) Alcorn. Denny graduated from Taft High School in 1972, and he retired from Armco Steel after 30 years. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and an active member of The Monkey Mutual Aid Society, The Eagles, The Moose, and The Amvets. Denny led an incredibly full life and had an immense impact on those around him. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. Denny is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherry Alcorn; 4 children, Dino (Danielle) Alcorn, David (Karly) Alcorn, Keith (Betty) Tinsley, and Angie Scott (Chad); 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Steve (Debbie) Alcorn and Bruce (Susan) Alcorn; and numerous other relatives and friends. Denny was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Kristina Alcorn. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home with Rev. Earl David Charles officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
