Dennis Bowling, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 03:15PM. He was born in Clay County, KY on March 29, 1929 to Howard and Lucy (Hoskins) Bowling. Dennis retired from Square D in 1991. Dennis was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Doug) Greene; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from Partners in Prime and the Farmer’s Market. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Bowling; parents; 3 brothers Carl, Ralph, and Howard Bowling Jr.; and 2 sisters, Mary Jaqui, and Mattie Robinson.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10 AM with Rev. Paul Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Partners in Prime Hamilton.
