Dennis Dale Davis

Dennis Dale Davis, age 59 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away at home on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 5p.m. He was born in Hamilton on April 10, 1956 to Clarence David and Helen (Johnson) Davis

He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 29 years, Karen (Durham) Davis, and his 2 wonderful sons, Stephen Helton (Sarah) and Shawn Helton (Crystal), his beautiful grandchildren, Seth, Shane, Sadie, Samuel, and Carson, 5 of his seven sisters, Betty McQueen (Gary) of Hamilton, Janet Combs (Larry) of Florida, Phyllis Patrick (Joe) of Middletown, Lois Wallace (Roger) of Hamilton, and Annette Hacker of Hamilton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis had many close friends , including his closest friend of 47 years, Lee Wolf, who was like a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Norma Murphy, and Davene Harris . His family and friends describe Dennis as the most loyal, honest, hardworking, kind and generous person who did so many things for others. Dennis graduated from Edgewood High School in 1974 and lived in the Trenton area most of his life. Dennis worked for Dale Grollmus at Texaco. Then he worked for Parson and Prows Inc. for many years. He then started his own company, D. Davis Construction which he ran for the last 20 years. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4815 Wayne Milford Rd. Hamilton, Ohio 45103 on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
