Dennis Paul Dittman, age 61 of Hamilton, passed away at University Hospital Cincinnati on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 8:03 AM. He was born in Hamilton on May 7, 1954 the son of Howard and Fern (Wyatt) Dittman. Dennis was employed by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office for thirty four years, retiring in 2002 and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #101. On February 28, 1976 in Hamilton he married Judy Graf.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Dittman of Hamilton; and his daughter, Dennise Nichole Dittman of Hamilton, and his beloved Cocker Spaniel, Sophia and his many special feline friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald and Donald Dittman.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, July 16 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Edwin Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Venice Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home with the BCSO FOP Lodge #101 holding a service at 7:30 PM.
