Dennis Withers

Dennis Withers was born on July 6, 1947 in Hamilton, Ohio. He passed away on March 11, 2014 from a long battle with cancer due to exposure of Agent Orange he acquired while serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, from 1966-1968.

He is survived by his son, Michael Withers, of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter Amber Withers of Morehead,Kentucky, and son Dennis Withers of Hamilton, Ohio; two brothers Billy Withers of Columbus, Georgia, and Leon Withers of Hamilton, Ohio; four sisters Faye Brock of Hamilton, Barbara Gray of Somerville, Ohio, Jeanette Sapp of Fairfield, Ohio, and Linda Kingery of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandchildren Breanna, Ariel, Sabryn, Lea, and Hayden. He was preceeded in death by his parents Hargett and Hattie Withers, four brothers Thaddeus, Howard, Jerry, and Gary Withers and one sister Christine Abbot.

Dennis was a fun and happy person. He had many close friends and relatives. He loved music and entertaining. He could make anyone laugh and was always ready to tell a good joke. Dennis loved life and everything that came with it and will be missed so much by all those who knew him.

Dennis wanted to thank his mother in law Carlotta and friend Tommy Willis and everyone that stuck by his side through this difficult time.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
