Denver L. Robbins

Denver L. Robbins, age 84 of Fairfield passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 4:15 PM. He was born in Sand Springs, Kentucky on December 27, 1927 the son of Daniel L. and Eva (Cromer) Robbins. Denver was employed in the heat treat plant at Ford Motor Company for 35 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle. On July 10, 1948 in Mount Vernon, Kentucky he married Imogene Niceley.

He is survived by his wife, Imogene Robbins of Fairfield; four children, Linda (Edward) Harper of Fairfield, Douglas (Victoria) Robbins of Indianapolis, Dianna (Jerry) Walls of Fairfield, and Mark (Victoria) Robbins of Evendale; two brothers, Wilbert (Dee) Robbins of Cincinnati and Carl (Edna) Robbins of Florida; a sister, Lucille (Bill) Renner of West Chester; a sister-in-law, Doris Robbins of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Dana (Alan) Petri, Joseph (Krystina) Dickman, Dianna (Travis) Allford, Michael (Carmela) Harper, Leeanna (Luke) Hoover, and Matthew (Trinity) Walls; and eleven great-grandchildren, Alayna, Emilyann, and Natalie Petri, Julianna and Alexandra Dickman, Cade and Addison Harper, Noah Allford, Natalie and Braiden Hoover, and Logan Walls; as well as three little angels they never got to know. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Walker and Russel Robbins.

Funeral service will be held at Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle, 7460 Morris Road, on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 10:00AM with Pastor Donald Pierce of Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle and Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon, KY, Elmwood Cemetery at 3:00PM. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday March 2, 2012 from 5-8PM.
