Diana G. Messer

Diana G. Messer, age 57 of Fairfield passed away at Bethesda North Hospital on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 9:30 AM. She was born in Hamilton on November 28, 1953 the daughter of Charles E. and Opal (Anderson) Thomas. Diana was employed as a medical assistant for Group Health Associates for 15 years and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. On April 30, 1971 in Hamilton she married Douglas K. Messer.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas K. Messer of Fairfield; two daughters, Jonne’ Messer and Mackenzie (Andy) Teague, both of Fairfield; a brother, Charles "Skip" (Gail) Thomas of Ross; a sister, Norma (Ron) Peacock of Goshen; two grandchildren, Madison and Drew; a special friend, Brenda Lusby of Fairfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Friendship Baptist Church, 8580 Cheviot Road, Groesbeck, Ohio 45251 on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Gary Jackson and Pastor Darrell Messer officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
