Diane C. Philpot

Diane C. Philpot, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12:48am. Diane was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 16, 1945 to William Pine and Lessie Adkins Pine. She was married to Coyt Philpot on September 21, 1963 in Hamilton, celebrating their marriage of 50 years in 2013. Diane loved doting on her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she wasn’t doing that, she enjoyed eating popcorn and drinking Coca-Cola while watching her favorite television shows. Diane enjoyed doing a variety of crafts and listening to a wide variety of music. She should be remembered for being a strong and loving wife, mother, and grandmother that could be all those things with a smile and sweetness that could be matched by very few.

Diane is survived by her sons Michael (Tracie) Philpot; Robert (Victoria) Philpot; Greg (Jessica St. John) Philpot; and a daughter, Sharon (Kelley) Haiber. Diane is also survived by her sisters Virginia Kremer and Bev Smith; her grandchildren Shawna (Tyler), Brian, Andrew (Katie), Noah, Caleb, Ava, CeCelia, Charlie, Dustin (Shelby), Aaron (Katelyn), Logan, Lexie, Logan B., Kalayna (Jake), Kaitlyn, and her great grandchildren Odyn, Iris, and Atlas, Ethan, and Lilian. Diane was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, as well as her baby brother, Burt.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chuck Cotton of Calvary Baptist Church of Middletown officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Rett Syndrome Foundation.
