Diane M. Leeds

Diane M. Leeds, age 70 of Hamilton, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Monday, May 28, 2018 after a long heroic battle with ovarian cancer. Diane was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 4, 1947 to Alfred Engler and Martha Ott Engler. Diane grew up in Mount Airy and attended Little Flower Parish. She graduated from McAuley High School and The University of Cincinnati. Diane married William Leeds on June 5, 1971 in Cincinnati, Oh. She retired from P&G and Talawanda School District. Diane enjoyed swimming, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Diane was a long time active member of Queen of Peace Parish. She got her courage and strength from her family and faith.

Diane is survived by her husband, William Leeds; children, Joseph Leeds, Craig Leeds, Laura (Richard) Davis; grandchildren, Hayden, Sadie and Hank; mother, Martha Engler; siblings, Rosemary (Michael) Kilday, Fred Engler, Linda (Jim) Hanson, and Steve (Mary) Engler; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Diane was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Engler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Wedig officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, PO Box 42277, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242. The family would like thank Dr. Crane, Dr. Wrenn, Dr. Lang, Stephanie Herro CNP, and all the nurses and staff at OHC and Mercy Hospital Fairfield.
