Diane R. Waters

Diane R. Waters, age 66 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:46 PM. She was born in Hamilton on October 18, 1944 the daughter of Ralph and Alice L. (Mutherd) Schlabach. Diane was employed as an imaging technician at Cincinnati Financial and was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. On November 7, 1964 in Fairfield she married Milton H. Waters.

Diane was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and all who knew her loved her. She is survived by her husband, Milton H. Waters of Hamilton; three children, Wendy (Chris) Waters-Connell of Hamilton, Angela M. (Tim) Dewald of Colerain Township, and Steven R. (Hollie) Waters of Trenton; eleven grandchildren, Weston, Samantha, Cody, Shawnee, David, Sophia, Josie, Kyra, Cameron, Jackson, and Trent; two sisters, Charlotte (Bob) Johnson of Lakeland, Florida and Joy (Melvin) Creech of London, Kentucky; four sisters-in-law, Jean, Marilyn, Bootsie, and Margaret Schlabach; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Milton D. Waters in 2007; and four brothers, Howard, Richard, Kenny, and Ralph Schlabach.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
