Dianna S. Hesson

Dianna S. Hesson, age 60 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital - Fairfield on Friday, January 7, 2022. Dianna was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 10, 1961 to the late Joseph and Gladys (Sawyer) Smith.

Dianna was known as Mom, Momma, or Nana to many more than her own children – She babysat for many of her neighbors and her home was always open. She kept bar at PJ Shooters and The Grub Pub, as well as many other local establishments for many years. She was a free spirit that loved loud music and loud bikes. Dianna’s uplifting spirit was contagious – she would always brighten your day. Above all, Dianna loved spending time with her family and friends.

Dianna will be dearly missed by her children, Shawn (Angie) Smith, Terra Hesson, Michael (Alexa) Hesson, her other son, Bruce (Katie) Hesson; her grandsons, Tyler, Cody (Ke’Ayshia), Skylar, Dusty, Seth, and Landon; her brothers, Mark Smith and Jeff Smith; her special cousins, Bonnie Vinson and Tommy Blaechle; her grand-pups, Zoya and Abath; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends that are too numerous to name.

Dianna is reunited in Heaven with her sister, Miriam Hofaker; her nephew, Zachary Hartmann; her uncles, Donald Sawyer and Wilbur Sawyer; her aunt, Marilyn Blaechle; her grandparents, Rueben and Grace Sawyer; her sisters-in-law, Sharell Smith and Diane Smith; and her daughter-in-law, Janice Svajda.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM until the time of her Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio.  Burial take place on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Burial Park.
