Dick Glassmeyer

Dick Glassmeyer, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018. Dick was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 5, 1935 to Satolli and Kathryn (nee Mullen) Glassmeyer. Dick, along with his wife, Connie, owned and operated The Deli Sandwich Shoppe and Catering by Connie for 29 years. Dick especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dick is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie Glassmeyer; his children, Lynn (Kevin) Kennedy, Rich (Kim) Glassmeyer, Steven Allen, Tina (Bob) Saurber, and Vicki Allen; his daughter-in-law, Johnnie Allen; his 14 grandchildren; his 5 great-grandchildren; his beloved dog, Moose, and many other loving family members and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David Allen; and his siblings, Satolli, John, Tom, Dan, Joan, Janet, Jean, and Dawn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Fr. James Wedig celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
