Dixie Kuykendoll

Dixie Kuykendoll, age 77, of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, March 7, 2010. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on March 30, 1932 the daughter of Charles E. and Flora (Williams) Nuckols. Dixie was employed as shop steward at Hamilton Fixture retiring after over 20 year’s service. She was very devoted to her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Steve) Ellis of Hamilton; two grandchildren, William Russo of Lansing, Michigan and Angela Russo of Hamilton. three great-grandchildren, Grace, Austin, and Blake; a sister, Peggy (Bill) Newcomb of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Imogene Nuckols of Hamilton; a niece, Deborah (Donald) Mull of Camden; a great niece, Rachel Mull of Camden; and two great nephews Michael Mull and Donald Mull, Jr. and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Ferman Nuckols and Conlie Nuckols.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. on Friday March 12th at 12 noon with Rev. Arnold Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM to 12 noon. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
