Donald Campbell

Donald Bruce Campbell, age 75 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Known to most as Don, he was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 15, 1949 to the late Marion Gail (Roop) and James Campbell, Jr. Don graduated from Ross High School, class of 1967 and attended Miami University before going to work for the U.S. Postal Service where he retired after 35 years. He was a dedicated Bengals and Reds fan, but his biggest passion was golf. As a life-long golfer, retirement allowed him to spend more time on the golf course. He was also a part-time greenskeeper and ranger – but he always made time to spend with his family, especially his grandkids. Don will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sharon Campbell; his children, Donald M. (Jeanenne) Campbell and Karen R. (Mike) Farmer; his grandchildren, Erin (Matt) Gilbert, Emma Sauerland, and Nate Campbell; his great-grandchildren, Emilia, Ella, and Grady; his sisters, Julie Abner, Janice Meacham, and Sandy (Ron) Coffey; his sister-in-law, Pam Campbell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, many extended family members and friends. Don is predeceased by his parents, his brother, Ron Campbell; and his parents-in-law, Alma & Chester Napier. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of his Memorial Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013. Masonic Funeral Rites will be conducted by the Washington Lodge #17, F&AM.

The family will receive friends at AmVets Post 1983, 914 Ross Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013 following the Memorial Service.
