Donald R. Elam

Donald R. Elam, age 74 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 23, 2026. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 24, 1952 the son of John and Patricia (Baecker) Elam. Donald was a member of the Rusty Nail house band Brown Road. He was employed as an over-the-road truckdriver for about thirty years. On September 21, 1979, in Hamilton he married Ann M. Weber.

Donald is survived by his wife, Ann M. Elam; stepson, Thomas Hubbard; two siblings, Thomas (Martha) Elam and Pam Hartley; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death his parents; his brother, Richard Elam and his wife Donna; two nieces, Dawn and Jenetta Elam; and great nephew, William Tyler Rush.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Michael Pucke, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio.
