Donald Lee Embry, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Donald was born in Estill County, Kentucky on September 24, 1928 to Strawd and Sudie Embry. Donald was a member of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Evelyn Griffin on September 23, 1954. Donald retired from Armco Steel after 34 years of service. He enjoyed going fishing.
Donald is survived by his children, Manuel (Patricia) Embry, Douglas Embry and Vuanitta Embry; his grand-daughter, Lauren Embry; his great grandchildren, Lydia Embry and Caden Keller; his sisters, Christine Horn and Lorene Pritchard; and other family members and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Embry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Graveside Service to follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
