Donald Farmer

Donald Farmer, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 5:28 AM. He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on June 2, 1932 the son of Hobert and Goldie (Gabbard) Farmer. Donald was a veteran of the Korean War with the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. He was retired from Mosler Safe Company and Hamilton City Schools. On September 1, 1955 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana he married Patricia Ann Bowker and she preceded him in death in 1995.

He is survived by three children, David (Cheryl) Farmer of Hamilton, Vickie Ingram of Hamilton, and Terri Farmer of Tampa, Florida; his sister, Doris June (George) Holland of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Nikki, Dawn, Jeff, Jay, Erica, Justin, and Katie; and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Vernon Williams of Glory Road Worship Center officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
