Donald Guffey, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Donald was born in Hazard, Kentucky on March 25, 1938 to Hollus Francis "Red" Guffey and Sophie "Granny" Hamilton Guffey. Don was a US Army Veteran that loved to quilt, bowl, play pool, loved his grandbabies and was a "slick old fart" who could fix anything.
Donald is survived by his wife, Judy Dye Guffey; children, Sharon Lynn (George) Berger and Donald Michael Guffey; grandchildren, Jared and Kailynn Berger; numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Hollus Francis "Red" and Sophie "Granny" Guffey; siblings, Jean, Paul, Judy and Jim.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tom Smith officiating. The family would like to thank the ICU nurses at Mercy FF and the staff of Hospice of Cincinnati.
