Donald L. Hawkey Jr., age 25 of Hamilton passed away on August 20, 2010. He was born on March 20, 1985 in Hamilton and was employed as a mechanic at Midas. He was a brother to all and a friend to many.
He is survived by his parents, Donald L. Sr. and Shirlena (Beaman) Hawkey, and Brenda (Sackenheim) Hawkey; a son, Dalton Marlow; two brothers, Daniel (Tiffany) Hawkey and Brandon (Paige) Shoemaker; four sisters, Shadeana (Lee) Wagers, Amanda Hawkey, Alisha (Shawn Strimpfel) Hawkey, and JoAnne (David) Kurtz; six nephews; and three nieces.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Hanger of New Life Vineyard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
