Donald L. Horn

Donald L. Horn, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at West Chester Hospital on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. He was born in Hamilton on February 16, 1936 to Charles and Esther (White) Horn. On February 22, 1958 he married Sue Hamblin and together they enjoyed over 40 years of marriage. Donald graduated from Hanover High school and attended Wilmington College for two years. Donald played baseball for the Cincinnati Red Legs for two years. He was inducted into the Talawanda High School Hall of Fame for basketball and baseball. Donald worked for Ford Motor Company for over 40 years.

He is survived by his children Bryon (Debbie) Horn, Andrea (Todd) Distler, and Michael Horn; four grandchildren Nikki, Chris, Brandon, and Nick; and two great grandchildren Natalie and Kaleb. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister Violet Huntington.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 10-12 Noon at the funeral home.
