Donald F. Knapp

Donald F. Knapp, age 82 of Fairfield, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Donald was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 12, 1940 to Earl Knapp and Lucille (Wallace) Knapp. Donald married Janet Markle on April 17th 1965. He spent many years working at Knapp’s Texaco as a mechanic. Donald enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, listening to his records and his favorite Dolly Parton. To know him was to love him and he was known as papaw to many.

Donald is survived by his children Traci (David) Caudill, Donald Knapp Jr. Grandchildren, Stephanie (Matthew) Hubbard, Haley (Caleb) Zwiebel, Megan (Jordan) Wilke. Great grandchildren, Braden, Preston, Julia, Brynley and another baby girl due October. Beloved nieces and nephews, Judy (Buck) Buchanan, Jennifer (Gary) Betz, Robert (Della) Knapp, Brian (Lisa) Knapp, Heather (Art) Sutton, Roselyn Schell, Debbie Day, Karen (Larry) Denney and Donna (Larry Jr) Williams. Great nieces, nephews, cousins and other beloved family members. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janet (Markle) Knapp, brother Robert Knapp and sister Janet Knapp.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013.  Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM with Larry Dinkins Care Pastor of Fairfield Church of the Nazarene officiating.  Private burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery.
