Donald H. Ramsey

Donald H. Ramsey, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Doverwood Health Care on Friday, January 11, 2019. Donald was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 2, 1932 to Murray Ramsey and Grace Leibrock Ramsey. Don married Lois Dufficy on December 26, 1950 in Liberty, IN. Don worked at Champion Paper for 18 years and retired from Mosler Safe. He retired to Myrtle Beach South Carolina working at a campground until he was 83. Don returned to Hamilton in 2014.

Donald is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lois Ramsey; children, Craig (Pam) Ramsey, Cheryl (Donald) Vidourek, Teryl (Tim) Scharrer and Jackie (Jeff) Hausmann; grandchildren, Becky, Allison, Mathew, Meredith, Kyle, Lindsey, Seth, Brad and Christina; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Audrey South; son-in-law, Dick (Lois) Von Stein and a special nephew, Steve Goebel. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Murray and Grace Ramsey; daughter, Kenda Von Stein; granddaughter, Regina Ramsey; siblings, Anne Sullivan, Jack Ramsey, Billy Ramsey; stepbrother, Jack Goebel.
