Donald G. Rich, age 66 passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday at 8:16 PM. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on June 12, 1941 the son of Elmer and Pearl (Woodson) Rich. In 1963 in Hamilton he married Rita Marie Jones, who preceded him in death in 1983.
He is survived by three children, Rita A. Rich, Sharon (Mark) Hamblin, and Donald R. Rich; six siblings, Jesse Rich, Ronnie and Howard Perdue, Anna Hensley, Brenda Jones, and Mary Thacker; five grandchildren, Callie, Lynsy, Todd, Mark, and Casey; and one great-granddaughter, MacKenzie. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve Perdue; and grandson, Travis Rich.
Funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel on Friday at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM at the chapel.
