Donald R. Youngblood, age 75 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, July 27, 2012. He was born in Maryville, Tennessee on January 21, 1937 the son of Paul and Leatha (Cates) Youngblood. Don was employed at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home for 32 years, retiring in 2003. On October 27, 1956 in England, he married Lorraine Grange.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Youngblood of Hamilton; a daughter, Deborah Needham of Hamilton; two grandsons, Geoffrey Dean Calvert II and David Christopher Calvert; and two great-grandchildren, Holly Marie Rhodes and Geoffrey Dean Calvert III. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
