Donna Faye Hubbard, age 74 of Newport, Kentucky, passed away at her residence surrounded by family on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Donna was born in Jellico, Tennessee on August 17, 1950 to Robert Evan and Imogene (nee Goins) Foley. Donna was graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. She was life time educator at Lockland School District. Donna devoted her time through out the years as a cheerleading coach, teacher, assistant principal, principal and superintendent. After being together for 7 years, Donna married the love of her life, Rocky Hubbard, on July 7th, 1997 at 7pm in a 7 minute service with 7 attendees. Donna enjoyed traveling the country in their RV, boating, flying planes, visiting the beach and above all, spending time with family.
Donna is survived by her husband and partner of 35 years, Rocky Hubbard; her children, Toby (Bobbie Jo) Stewart, Roxanne (David) Barden, Rockell Hubbard, Rocklyn (Josh) York and Mike (Krissy) Ott; her brother, John (Tracey) Foley Sr.; her grandchildren, Brooke (Zach) Fussey, Kaitlin Stewart, Greysun (Bre) Barden, Skylyr (Jake) Barden, Stone (Brittany) Barden, Alyssa Stewart, Adam Stewart Jr., Tyson Stewart, Josh York, Kayne Obie, Jonny York, Alfred Julian Jr., Justyn York, Jackie York, Chase Ott, Chandler Ott, Layney Ott and Sparrow Ott; her great grandchildren, Tullee Barden, Fox Fussey, Ford Fussey and Easton Barden; and her siblings-in-law, Teri (Terry) Ivers, Rusty (Rhonda) Hubbard and Randy (Sherri) Hubbard; and many other loving family members and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Imogene Foley; her in-laws, Ben and Norinne Hubbard; her son, Adam Stewart; her sisters-in-law, Kim Hubbard and Sherry Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:07 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, 45013. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 1:07 PM. Graveside service will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, pancan.org , during the month of November, for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, the organization will double donation amount.
