Donna Johnson

Donna Johnson, age 65 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 8:19 PM. She was born in Cincinnati on May 8, 1945 the daughter of Harold and Vivian (Coleman) Black. Donna was employed in medical records at Mercy Hospital for twenty years; she then worked at Internists of Fairfield for eight years, retiring in 2008. She was a very loving person who will be missed by all who knew her. Donna was a member of First Baptist Church of Ross. On September 12, 1970 in Hamilton she married Tony Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Johnson of Hamilton; two children, Melanie (Rich Willis) Johnson and Mark (Cindy) Johnson, both of Hamilton; her mother, Vivian Black of Liberty, Kentucky; four sisters, Vicky Black of Kentucky, Mona (Mike) Short of Indiana, Molly Birch and Crystal Ellison, both of Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Brittani, Sarah, and Tony Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Elijah, and Carter; a brother-in-law, Bud (Brenda) Noe; and two sisters-in-law, Wanda (Dee) Barnes and Henrietta Philbeck. She was preceded in death by her father and three brothers, Tim, Mike, and Wayne Black.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM.
