Donna J. Owens

Donna J. Owens "Granny", age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at the University Hospital Cincinnati on Monday, November 2, 2015. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 16, 1937 to George and Ruth (Young) Wahl. On December 4, 1954 she married Gilbert Owens, who preceded her in death on August 14, 2015. Donna retired from Frisch’s.

She is survived by her children Gilbert Owens Jr., (Debbie) Debbie Burwinkel (Jerry), Tim Owens (Cari) and Tammy Weitzel (Brian); 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; sisters Carol Klock and Cathy Hamblin and one brother Jack Wahl; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers George and Larry and sisters Judy and Glenna.

Funeral Service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday November 7, 2015 at 11 AM with Pastor Joseph Head officiating. Burial will follow at New London Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 10 AM until time of service (11 AM) at the funeral home.
