Donna Shepherd

Donna J. Shepherd, age 71 of Oxford, passed away at her residence on Friday, December 12, 2014. She was born in Phil, Kentucky on December 3, 1943 to Charles and Lorene (Luttrell) Daniel. On June 4, 1984, she married Gene Shepherd.

She is survived by her children Charles D. Robinson (Donnitta), Cherly D. Seagraves (Troy), Wanda J. Tyree (Tommy) and Donald Shepherd; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; one brother John A. Slusher (Bea) and sisters Judy Eliton, Beverly Ball, Linda Patterson, Sharon (John) Ewen, and Mildred Steven; special friends Jeff, Steve, Gary, Rosco, Otis and Connie. She was preceeded in death by her parents, loving father John Slusher, son James Gabbard, brother Herbert Daniel and the love of her life Donald Gene Shepherd of 30 years.

Funeral service will be held for both Donna and Gene at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 12 Noon with Pastor Mark Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 11-12 Noon at the funeral home.
