Donna & Mike Saylor

Donna Jean Saylor, age 61 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. Donna was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 28, 1960 to the late Daymond Franklin and Mildred Lee (Chesnut) Hibbard. She graduated from Garfield High School and went on to work for Eavey’s Foods, where she met her husband, Mike Saylor. Together, they also worked together at Kruse Hardware. Donna eventually went on to work at Quality Gold in Fairfield. Donna enjoyed Bingo, shopping and watching movies. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Sadly, Michael D. Saylor, her husband, passed away just two days after Donna’s passing.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Jason) Toennisson; her son, Brian (Angel) Mercer; her grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler Inman) Mercer, Brian White, Briana Mercer, Daymond Mercer, Faith Hilton, Danielle Hilton, Karly Hilton, Hope Toennisson, and Hailey Toennisson; her great-grandchildren, Daisy Clements, Adalaya Damian, and Javier Damian; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Michael D. Saylor , age 58 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Known to most as Mike, he was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 23, 1963 to the late William and Alberta Saylor. Mike graduated from Garfield High School and went on to work for Eavey’s Foods, where he met his wife, Donna Saylor. Together, they also worked together at Kruse Hardware. Mike eventually went to work as a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service. Mike had a passion for the outdoors, especially fishing, and liked to work on computers. Above all, Mike enjoyed spending time with his family.

Sadly, Donna Saylor, his wife, passed away just two days prior to Mike’s passing.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Vanessa (Lee) Sapp; his son, Nick Saylor; his grandchildren, Bruce, Xavier, and Caleb; his sisters, Anna Saylor and Sandra Thompson; his brother Charles (Viola) Saylor; his nephews, Chris, Joey, and Travis; as well as many extended family members and close friends. Mike was preceded in death by a son, Michael C. Saylor.

Visitation for Donna & Mike will be held on Wednesday, January  5, 2022 from 5:00 PM until the time of their Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Interment for Donna will take place on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Butler County Memorial Park.
