Donnie L. Tye

Donnie L. Tye, age 45 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away at his home on Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was born in Cincinnati on December 17, 1969 to Kenneth and Ruth (Mann) Tye. On March 11, 1995 he married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Beverly Kurkowski. Donnie was a member of the Ohio Laborers Union 265 for 20 years and was last employed with Flach Masonry as a HOD carrier/ operator. Donnie loved his family and spending his time fishing and coaching sports to his two children. He can also be remembered for his love of sports and old western movies, while enjoying Swedish Fish candy. Donnie loved the Lord and worshiping at his church, New Haven Family Worship Center, where he was a member of several years.

He is survived by his wife Beverly Tye, children Anna (Pete) Kapp and Donnie Tye II; his parents and three brothers Denny, Willie and Kenny Swain; mother in law Annetta Kurkowski and numerous other family members. Donnie held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephew Kyria, Kammie and Korey Kurkowski.

Funeral Service will be held at New Haven Family Worship Center, on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10 AM with Pastor David Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the church.
