Doris Ann Smith

Doris Ann Smith, age 58 of Oxford, passed away at Liberty Nursing Center of Oxford on Friday, March 7, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on December 10, 1955 to Ray and Birdie (Smallwood) Smith. Doris was a member of Auburn Old Time Holiness Church.

She is survived by her mother, Birdie Smith; sisters, Josephine (A.B) Gray, Nancy Nelson, and Mattie Gray; brother, Kenneth (Gladys) Smith; sister-in-law, Theresa Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray V. Smith; sisters, Bonnie Smith and Mary Potter; and brothers, Amel Smith, Coy Smith, and Jimmy Smith.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Granville Saylor of Auburn Old Time Holiness Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
