Doronna L. (Garland) Wade

Doronna L. (Garland) Wade, age 53 of Parkersburg, West Virginia, formerly of Hamilton, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Parkersburg on Monday, January 19, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on June 17, 1955 the daughter of Alonzo Ray and Dorlynn (Rowland) Garland. Doronna was a 1973 graduate of Garfield High School and a member of Parkersburg Baptist South Church. On February 13, 1982 in Covington, Kentucky she married Timothy E. Wade.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Wade; a son, Timothy Justin Wade; a daughter, Ashley Jean Wade, all of Parkersburg; her mother, Dorlynn Garland Harkins of Fairfield; two brothers, Roger (Brenda) Garland of Fairfield and Neil (Jill) Garland of Liberty Township; two nieces, Anna Garland and Angela Jenkins; a nephew, Mike Garland; a great-niece, Angel; a great-nephew, Joseph; and a special aunt, Shirley Prater of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Farthing of New Miami First Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
