Dorothy P. Arnett

Dorothy P. Arnett, age 81 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 7:10 AM. She was born in Goffstown, New Hampshire on January 18, 1928 the daughter of Forrest A. and Pearl Brock (Greer) Leavitt. On January 22, 1952 in Florence, South Carolina she married Kenneth D. Arnett.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. Arnett of Hamilton; two daughters, Kathy (Billy) Williams of Hamilton and Debbie (Kenneth) Mick of Dillsboro, Indiana; six grandchildren, Jenny (Richard) Halter, Tom (Liz) Mick, Nathan Williams, Jacob Mick, Luke Williams, and Keli Mick; two sisters, Jean (Len) Ouellette of Clermont, New Hampshire and Kay (Joe) Chestnut of Boulder City, Nevada; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth Michael Arnett; and a sister, Billie Wilson.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Eric Brazelton of Miltonville Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
