Dorothy Hale

Dorothy Hale age 67 of Somerset, Kentucky, formerly of Hamilton, passed away in Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:30AM. She was born in Hamilton on July 20, 1940, the daughter of Elbe and Birdie (Stewart) Brockman. On August 18, 1956, in Liberty Indiana, she was married to Irwin Rogers and he preceded her in death in 1985, on January 10, 1996, in Hamilton, she was married to Harry Hale.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Hale of Somerset, Kentucky; three sons, Kelvin (Vicky) Rogers, Irwin (Marlene) Rogers Jr. both of Hamilton and Brian (Won Mi) Rogers of Korea; one brother, Merle Brockman of Hamilton; four sisters, Lola Mae Donald of Fairfield, Viola Cornett, Mabel Bailey and Wanda Oliver all of Hamilton; nine grandchildren, Leah, Jesse, Janice, Brandon, Shawn, Jennifer, Danny, Beth and Amy and ten great-grandchildren, Bailey, Landen, Morgan, Maddison, Lauren, Nicholas, Conner, Kaleb, Olivia and Alora. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Ramona Eyler; three brothers, Warren, Bradley and Delbert Brockman and one sister, Opal Loman.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Revs. Jim and Diane Mullins, Pastors of Calvary Christian Center officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
