Dorothy Louise Lee

Dorothy Louise Lee, age 94 of Land O Lakes, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Dorothy was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 28, 1930, to Charles Otis Huff Sr. and Carrie Belle (George) Huff.   Dorothy was married to John M. Brockman Jr. on November 29, 1950, until his death in September 1971. She was then married to Fred M. Lee on November 18, 1978. She was a devout believer in Christ and spent her life in service to others and showing God‘s love. She was a secretary at Black and Clausen in Hamilton, Ohio, as well as secretary to the president at Citizen’s Bank in Hamilton.  After the death of her first husband, John, she then assumed a job as court recorder in the city of Hamilton.  In 1976 she was hired as church secretary for the Princeton Pike Church of God. She served the church diligently until her retirement in 2005.  Dorothy enjoyed collecting dolls, recording family history, and her passionate love for singing.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Rev. Dan (Kimberly) Brockman; 2 grandchildren, Danielle (Joey) Tredway and John (Joslyn) Brockman, and 4 great grandchildren, Sophia Brockman, Ava Brockman, Kelley Tredway, and John Miles Brockman.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carrie Huff, husbands John Brockman and Fred Lee, brothers Charles Huff, Buster Huff, JC Huff, Billy Huff, Dick Huff, Ray Huff, Ron Huff, and Donnie Huff, sisters Audrey Chambers, Imogene Bartels, Irene Robbins, Velma Helton, and Elma Lee Paquet, and one great grandchild, Jaxon Malachi Brockman.

Funeral service will be held at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Dan Brockman officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Princeton Pike Church of God.  Memorial contributions can be made to Fort Meade Worship Center Missions, of which she was a member.
