Dorothy L. Mahon

Dorothy L. "Dottie" (nee Gilkey) Mahon, age 92, of Hamilton passed away on August 9, 2018. She is survived by her daughter Diane Ducklo, son Dale (Nicki) Mahon, daughter Debbie Adams, eight grandchildren, Scott, Alissha, Lance, Nicholas, Nathan, Alexandra, Meredith and Christopher, ten great-grandchildren, Dominic, Dante, Roman, AvaLynn, Kennedy, Armando, Lucas, Johanna, Diem and Dale Joc. Also survived by sister, Mary Lou Osterfeld, brothers, Robert, Lawrence and Kenneth Gilkey. Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur P. "Bud" Mahon, sister, Mildred McFarland, and brothers, James, Gerald and Donald Gilkey. She graduated in 1943 from Seton High School, Cincinnati, was employed in various secretarial positions and most recently at EPA and YMCA Child Watch. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, and spending time with family & friends and her pet cat Midnight. Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Visitation will be heldfrom 10 to 11:30 am followed by a prayer service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
