Dorothy L. "Dotty" Wood

Dorothy L. "Dotty" Wood, age 76 of Cincinnati, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 2:28PM. She was born in Hamilton on September 6, 1939 to David and Amelia (Bokeno) Young. Dotty was employed as an Engineering Clerk at GE for 16 years. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. On November, 23, 1957 in Hamilton she married Keith Wood.

She is survived by her children, Doug (Susan) Wood of Cincinnati, Dennis (Deanna) Wood of Norene, TN, and Donald Wood of Cincinnati, her grandchildren, Matt (Amy), Lauren, Erin, and Jacob Wood, her brother, Bob Young of Hamilton, sister, Loretta Caudill of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Keith Wood, her brother, David Young Jr., her brother-in-law, Richard Caudill, and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2014 Springdale Rd., on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11 AM with Fr. Kyle Schnippel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 9-10:45AM at the church.
