Dorothy (Dot) Jean Richardson-Wilson of Hamilton went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 6:45AM. Dot was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 25, 1938, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Bryant. She retired from Fort Hamilton Hospital where she worked as a Receptionist for 24 years. She was recognized for her volunteer work at Jefferson Elementary in the STARS program, the Christmas program, in the Hamilton City Dam program, and in many church and women’s programs.
She married Carl Wilson of Hamilton on January 9, 2017. She is survived by her husband Carl, son Steve Richardson of Batavia, daughter Sherry Richardson of Oxford, brothers Rick (Lee) Bryant of Hamilton, Jim (Loretta) Bryant of Darrtown, David (Linda) Bryant of Cincinnati, nine grandchildren: Brandon, Bradley, Hilary, Jamos, Ryan, Jake, Whitney, Ashley and Zachary, eighteen great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Carson, Blake, Brody, Grant, Nolan, Brianna, Nellie, Truman, Isla, Amos, Ophelia, Liam, Ella, Brynn, Tatum, Winnie and Vaeda. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years Amos Richardson, her brothers Bob Bryant and Chuck Bryant and her son Greg Richardson. Dot had many nieces and nephews, and extended family that were near and dear to her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Morning Star Christian Fellowship, 200 Belle Avenue on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00PM, visitation at 1:00, with Pastor Ron Howard presiding. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Lymphoma Research Foundation or Leukemia Research Foundation memorializing Dot Richardson would be greatly appreciated. Family was important to Dot, but she loved and was loved by all.
