Dortha Williams

Dortha S. Williams, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Wellington Manor on Sunday, December 18, 2011. She was born in Noland, Kentucky on July 27, 1924 the daughter of William and Eva (Powell) Robertson. Dortha was employed as a bookkeeper at the YMCA for 25 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Richmond Road Baptist Church, Amvets #71 Auxiliary, American Legion #138 Auxiliary, Moose Lodge of Trenton Auxiliary, and DAV #131 Auxiliary. On November 3, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio she married Edgar L. Williams, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

She is survived by brother, Curt Robertson of Fairfield and a number of loving nieces and nephews, and great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Darrell Robertson; and sisters, Louise Robertson and Mildred Oates.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Paul Tillett officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
