Douglas Ray Minyard

Douglas Ray Minyard, age 63 of Hamilton, passed away at Mason Health Care Center on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Doug was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 8, 1962 to Benjamin and Audrey “Faye” (Cooley) Minyard. Doug’s life passion was music. He played music with some of his best friends at many gigs throughout Ohio. He continued to play and entertain the residents and staff of Mason Health Care Center while he lived there. Doug loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan, he always had a team hat on depending on the season.

Doug is survived by his daughter, Tera Minyard; his sisters, Mary (Darren) Edwards and Carolyn (Raymond) Kinsey; his grandchildren, Nicollette, Raiden, Kyler, Nevaeh, Ryker and Blaze; his great-grandchildren, Raine, Aria, Paisley, Stryker and Tayvn; and his nieces and nephews, Hailey, Cody, Cassady, Cameron, Abby and Madeline. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Faye Minyard; his granddaughter, Dafne; and his uncle, Tom Minyard.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Laurel Avenue Church of Christ, 1049 Laurel Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45015.
