Douglas Richard Mulle Jr.

Douglas Richard Mulle Jr., age 19 of Hamilton passed away in Bremen, Georgia on Saturday, May 10, 2008. He was born in Hamilton on January 14, 1989 the son of Douglas Richard Sr. and Julie D. (Adams) Mulle. Douglas was a 2007 graduate of Hamilton High School and a member of Lindenwald Baptist Church.

PFC Mulle graduated the U.S. Army’s Basic Combat Training before finalizing his senior year of high school. With unrivaled ease, PFC Mulle then fulfilled his Military Occupational Specialty training requirements at the AMEDD Academy of Health Sciences. PFC Mulle then came to Ft. Benning, GA where he volunteered and successfully completed Airborne training and the 75th Ranger Regiment’s Indoctrination Program.

He is survived by his father, Douglas Richard Mulle of Hamilton; mother and stepfather, Julie and Marty Gras of Bremen, Georgia; two sisters, Kimberly Mulle of Hamilton and Casey Mulle of Bremen, Georgia; four brothers, Michael Justin Mulle of Hamilton, Dakota and Ethan DeBruler, both of Hamilton, and Joey Gaskin of Georgia; grandparents Jodie and Christopher Mulle, and Jerry Adams; great-grandmother Rose Cole; step-grandparents Ervin and Ethel Gras; special aunt and uncle, Tricia and Danny Owens; cousins D.J. and Tiffany Owens, all of Florida; devoted girlfriend, Jessie Glancy; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leroy Adams.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Randy J. Moore of Lindenwald Baptist Church officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
