Doyle "Junior" Haynes

Doyle "Junior" Haynes, age 76 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 4:00 AM. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 27, 1934 the son of Claude and Edith (Merritt) Haynes. Junior was a supervisor for Pepsi Cola for over 46 years, retiring in 2000. On June 20, 1988 in Jellico, Tennessee he was married to Donna Lewis.

He is survived by his wife Donna Haynes of Hamilton; a daughter, Kimberly L. (Frank) Sterwerf of West Harrison, Indiana; six sons, Dennis K. Haynes of Hamilton, Doyle K. Haynes of Hamilton, Gregory (Barb) Haynes of Oxford, Russell Dougherty of Hamilton, Jeff (Kelley) Dougherty of Oxford, and Brian (Natalie) Nicely of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Frankie John Sterwerf of Indianapolis, Emily (Shohn) Johnson of Hamilton, Tyler Dougherty of Hamilton, Lane and Luke Dougherty of Oxford and Sophia Nicely of Indianapolis; two brothers, Bobby (Sandy) Haynes of Millville, and Felix (Mildred) Haynes of Phoenix, Arizona; and three sisters, Pauline Lowery of Hamilton, Gaytha (Vince) Isgro of Mountain View, California, and Virginia (Bobby) Hall of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Daniel K. Haynes; former spouse, Janella Haynes; and one brother, Buck Haynes.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harold Thompson, Pastor of Stahlheber Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
