Doyle Karr

Doyle L. Karr, age 90 of Seven Mile, passed away at home on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Doyle was born in Keavy, Kentucky on March 16, 1934 to the late Everett Anderson Karr and Martha Elizabeth (Anders) Karr. As a young man, Doyle left Kentucky for Hamilton. He worked at a few of the areas papermills over the years and after retirement, worked with his son-in-law at Stahlheber Excavating. Doyle will be remembered for his strong work ethic, known for pulling doubles and going the extra mile. If he wasn’t working, he was either hunting, turning a wrench, or playing the slots at Miami Valley Gaming with his friends and family.

Doyle is survived by his sons, Gregory (Valerie) Karr and Timothy Karr; his step-daughters, Debbie (Doug) Stahlheber and Tonya (Billy) Perpingon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, James Karr; his sister-in-law, Mary Karr; as well as many friends and extended family members.

Doyle was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Karr; his step-son, Tom Sizemore; and his brother, Keith Karr.

Graveside services will be held at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 2:30 PM.
