Duetta Mccullough

Duetta McCullough, age 87 of Milan, IN, previously of Cheviot, OH, passed away at BrightStar in Mason on Monday, July 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Duetta was born in Jellico Creek, Kentucky on September 12, 1936 to Mary Jones and Floyd Ball. She loved her early years on the farm with her Grandpa Paige, Grandma Julia and lots of cousins. Duetta married young and took to motherhood beautifully. She was a homemaker and pastor's wife, spending her life serving others. She spent most of her time living out in Milan, IN, where she lived in a beautiful house in the woods with her cats. Duetta enjoyed garage sales and antiquing. She could be found listening to Elvis and hymns and loved spending time with her family.

Duetta is survived by her children, Deborah (Vincent) Walter and Johnnie Stevens; Gene and Linda Stevens; her grandchildren, Tim (Sheri) Berns, Sara (Chris) Cox, and Samantha Stevens; her great-grandchildren, Sunnie, Adam, Brinkli, Finn, Natalie, Ben, Eli, and Michael; her siblings, Ralph (Pam) Jones and Loren (Jack) Cragwall; and a host nieces and nephews. Duetta was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Lonnie Jones; her sister, Edna Long; and her husband, Bill McCullough.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fairfield West Baptist Church, 5345 Muskopf Rd, Fairfield, Ohio, 45014. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Chris Cox and Pastor Rob Rosenbalm officiating. In remembrance of Duetta, the family encourages those attending her services to wear Duetta's favorite color, purple.
