Earl E. Conrad

Earl E. Conrad, age 84 of Collinsville, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, August 28, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on May 14, 1931 to Ernest and Roberta (Mitchell) Conrad. Earl was a 1949 graduate of Seven Mile High School. On September 29, 1950 in Fairfield he married Margaret McCormick. Earl was a retired salesman at Lewis Cigar Company and various other companies. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Camden, delivered Meals on Wheels, and volunteered at Riverview Elementary School for numerous years, where he was known as the Kindergarden Grandpa by the kids. Earl was a member of Collinsville United Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Conrad of Collinsville; two cousins, Jackie Hollowell of Collinsville and Davida (James) McKinney of Hamilton; a special friend and caregiver, Brenda Gray; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a his grandmother, Jessie Kerby.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Gabbard of Collinsville United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:00am at the funeral home.
