Earlene Stacy

Earlene Stacy, age 66 of Hamilton departed this life on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at University of Cincinnati Hospital. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 15, 1943 the daughter of Earl and Opal (Strunk) Yancey. On March 5, 1960 in Hamilton, she married Bob R. Stacy, and he preceded her in death in 2008.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresia K. Hughett of Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Etta Stacy of Oneida, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Nicole, Jesse, Rachel, and Marie; a very special great-grandson, Jacob; a brother, Ronald (Vickie) Yancey of Hamilton; and two sisters, Brenda (Michael) Napier of Hamilton and Karen (Dave) Tillett of Oneida, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Earl Stacy; a brother, Fred Yancey; and beloved grandmother, Neva Yancey.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
